Travel Consultant

*Agents are to effectively sell and promote the sale of travel services to current and potential clients for both leisure and corporate reservations.

*
Work in an office for 20-30 hours per week

  • Correspond with clients in many forms of communication including phone, email, text, and social media outlets

  • Research and compile quotes for clients

  • Use of Sabre GDS

  • Solicit and develop new clients

  • Conduct presentations for groups, cruise nights, travel shows, and other events

  • Use of office programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, and Quick Books

  • Participate in seminars both online and at off-site locations

  • Experience a variety of different destinations to gain knowledge of locations

  • Perform site inspections of resorts and hotels and provide feedback in a report

Job Type: Part-time

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • Travel Industry Experience: 2 years

Required license or certification:

  • Drivers License
